Ignem is Latin for fire. To us, it stands for drive, passion, energy and warmth. Starting an actual fire? Probably not the best idea. Starting a brand? Now that's more like it.
We met while studying visual communication and quickly realised we shared a passion for design, communication and everything in between. Different minds, same ambition. And somewhere along the way, we realised that together, we could create something neither of us would have come up with alone.
We love people with ideas. Big, small, fully formed or slightly crazy. Getting to know someone's vision, obsessing over the little details and turning ideas into something they genuinely love. That's what gets us fired up.
That's Ignem. Two people, different strengths, plenty of ideas and a shared drive to create things we truly believe in. Because sometimes, one plus one really does make three.
The founders
Frida is the one who gets people talking, and she's never short of a new idea. She loves getting to know the people behind a business, understanding their vision and spotting opportunities that aren't always obvious at first. She turns loose thoughts into ideas that actually work. Where others see something finished, Frida often sees the start of something new. That's where the spark ignites.
Isak always has a plan, and usually a backup plan too. He pairs an eye for design with a head for the technical side, and makes sure ideas don't just look good but hold up all the way to delivery. Once the spark ignites, Isak keeps the fire burning.
We're different, and that's kind of the point. Frida brings the ideas and the energy. Isak gives them structure and depth. And you get both.
